Pilates is an exercise method, designed to elongate, strengthen and restore the body to balance. Based upon an anatomical understanding of the body’s muscular and skeletal systems, the Pilates instructor creates a comprehensive exercise programme for the client.
Classes will involve exercises that integrate the whole body to re-educate and restore it to optimum muscular and skeletal function. It is this holistic approach that sets Pilates apart from many other forms of exercise.
Osteopaths, Chiropractors, physiotherapists and general practitioners recommend Pilates as one of the safest forms of exercise today. Pilates can be beneficial for just about everyone, regardless of age and fitness level.

// About Kylie
Kylie first experienced Pilates as a last hope for minimising her lower back pain (disk bulge) due to the occupational hazards encountered during her time, in the Military, as a dental assistant.
Within 4 weeks of applying herself, the pain was finally subsiding. As time progressed and her core strengthened the pain continued to abate.
With a re-invigorated quality of life and new found passion, Kylie invested 2004/2005 to gain her Diploma in Professional Pilates Instruction.
Kylie aims to expose as many people as possible to the Pilates method. From her own experiences she has a soft spot for rehabilitating injuries and facilitating the improvement clients' capabilities.
// About Tracy
Tracy professionally taught Ballroom dancing for many years before embarking on travel around Australia and having her first daughter. During this travel, Tracy suffered a lower back injury and, after many attempts to improve the situation, was convinced the pain would just always be there.
Kylie met Tracy at a Mum's group and convinced her to come in for a Matwork class. After 12 sessions, and plenty of homework, there was noticable signs of strength and less pain in her lower back.
After 3 months, Tracy was hooked and enjoying a more active livestyle with her daughter as a result.
Tracy has since completed her Level 1 Matwork certification with Studio Pilates International and helping others achieve the similar results.
